I got home a little while ago, so I thought I would get some Blogging done on iCrack! Jake Zemke and I drove down from Ohio to North Carolina in his Motorhome... below is a picture of JZ's rig at my crib. We had a good old time yick yackin' about racing and stuff. Jake is half responsible for getting me hooked on this iCrack crap!

When the weekend was over last night the Kawasaki team with leader Mike Preston gave Tommy Hayden his championship winning ZX-6RR. A couple of pictures of the event for ya.

I asked Tommy what he does with these bikes (side bar - Tommy got the ZX-6RR from the 2004 Supersport Championship as well, he received it on 2 Wheel Tuesday), he jokingly said, "I sell them!" With a big Hayden smile I might add. I know they go in the Hayden museum at the house in the OWB.
Interesting news about Tommy Hayden... he is not signed for 2007 yet. His contract, along with Aaron Yates, Ben Bostrom, Neil Hodgson, Damon Buckmaster, Danny Eslick and many others, are up. My best guess is that Kawasaki wants to keep TommyGun for at least two more seasons. Tommy is a very hot rider right now, especially after his podium at Laguna.
A new show on Speed called "The Speed Report" débuted last night. At the end of the show they had this thing called like The Best 5 or something. Anyway, the best 5 is the best moments from the weekend in motorsports racing... our boy 98 (Jake Zemke) made the top of the list... he scored #1 with his crash, but more importantly and the reason he really made #1, he was signing autographs right after the crash while the race was still going on. I guess the boys at Speed thought that was pretty cool... I know I did. If you did not see his 140 MPH get off from Saturdays race you really missed something. He walked away to finish 4th on Sunday.
I have a picture of myspacer Rhiannon from the track. She was factory Yamaha pilot Jason DiSalvo's U-Girl this weekend. We did not get much of a chance to talk, but it was kinda cool to see an iCrack (myspace) face at the races.

Since I am on the topic of Yamaha and stuff... these pictures are of the new Graves exhaust tips. They were initially tested at Laguna, but were a little to short and the heat from the exhaust was melting the paint on the tail section, so they made the cans a bit longer. It seems to have solved the problem... this is a good story because it shows you how Graves uses the AMA Superbike Series to test products before they end up on your dealer shelves or on your bike. I thought that was pretty cool.

Here are some pictures I took over the weekend with a little explanation as well.

www.roadracingworld.com 's Dave Swarts in his office!

J Hayes with Mel P... notice the 2nd place trophy in her hand. The FX class is awesome! Three riders covered by only 4 points... Josh is one of them!

A gift for Sachiko from the Haydens... notice the Earl's Racing Team on the bib... how cool is that!

Mrs. H preparing the cooling device for her man... when he came in from work this trip he had just ripped his first of two poles for the weekend. Then he did the triple double.

Jake Holden's new lid. The pure gold globe is gone and now... some flava. Jake rode strong at the Mid-O!

Jason Pridmore is looking at something... the next picture shows you what it is.

Timing and Scoring monitor. All the top pit stalls have them. Some even have those video pictures of the races... very neato!

Attack Kawasaki's Ben Attard... contracted to race next year with Kawi. get those starts ripping son! Ben is a podium threat at any time.

I read this myspacer looks cute from half way around the world... go figure!

M4/Emgo Suzuki's Geoff May... he drags his 'bows around Mid-O and other joints. He is a free agent as well next year... I love me some silly season.

16 Years old and he has a logo... crap Nicky Hayden didn't even have one of these until he was like 18ish. Josh Herrin is fast... I'll give him that.

Superstock grid... awholota Blue.
The AMA teams are testing at Road Atlanta tomorrow and Wednesday. I hope to have some information for ya about the test from my well placed sources... you know, the riders. If I can think of anything else I will let you know, so keep checking back.
Thanks for reading my Blog.
