What a day at Mid-Ohio today. It started off with some moisture on the track, so the jet-dryer goes out to blow the track dry and leaks diesel fuel onto the surface. Huge delays pushed everything back about a hour. Then we find out that former Pro-Star Drag Race guy Keith Kiser is the new Roadrace Director. That tossed some people hair into a beehive! Other than that it was business as usual at the track. Nothing spectacular to tell you today. Ben Spies was going good on the Superbike, but so were Mat Mladin and Jake Zemke. Jason Pridmore went fast on the Jordan Suzuki Superbike with a time just over 1 second off the leaders. Josh Haner (he is 44 on the front page, send him a friends request) put in a great lap as well just behind Pridmore... at dinner Haner said it was Jake and Jason's tow that helped him with that time. Jason Disalvo got pole in FX and he said he had a great time in Japan last week.
This picture is of some of the canopies on pit road. This picture is of Neil Hodgson's leathers and helmet trying to dry out. This picture is the other members of my team for the weekend, that is Steve the photographer, and Crystal the grip. More tomorrow. L8R!
